FreeBMD Authorisation RequiredYou have failed to correctly access protected information on the FreeBMD Website.
This page is displayed when the content you have requested is PROTECTED and you have failed to supply the correct credentials.
| Cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| An incorrect userid or password has been used. | The userid and password needed to access the scan images are case sensitive. Please ensure you are using the correct case. "password" is not the same as "Password". |
| You have used the userid transcriber. | The use of the universal userid of transcriber has been discontinued. Please use your transcriber userid and password. |
| You have recently registered as a transcriber or changed your password. | It takes a short while for your password to become effective for accessing images. Please try again in 10 minutes. |
| You have not yet completed the registration process. | If you have recently registered you need to complete the registration process before you can access scans. Follow the instructions in the email you have been sent or contact the Volunteer Coordinator. |
| You are not a member of the FreeBMD project trying to access scan images | Members of the public can view the scan images here |
